I am trying to buy a visitor visa for myself and my wife for my USA travel. My indian visa cards are failing by giving an error saying credit card declined contact bank. I want to understand how can i buy the insurance by being in India. Please suggest asap. Is that any one can buy this on my behalf using his bank details and this will not make him liable for my insurance and bills? Please confirm.
Any of your friend or relatives can pay the premium for you using their card that does not mean they will be liable for your medical bills. All the information is confidential and it will not release to hospital or any provider. Sometime credit card from overseas has some limit that you can't use more than that. But from our side you can use card from here or India doesn't matter as long as you have enough credit limit.
