Will this plan cover them during their travel from India as well as in the U.S.? I am looking to buy comprehensive insurance from Atlas America for my parents who are visiting the US. Does this cover their travel from India to US too?
Yes. Atlas America is an international plan will provide them coverage anywhere except their home country. Our plans for visitors to the U.S. can cover someone anywhere outside their country of citizenship or their home country as well as during their travel. Plan coverage starts according to US Eastern standard time. So whatever effective date you select keep the time difference in mind. If their arrival date is 04/25 you need to start the coverage from 04/24 to cover their travelling time.
