US citizen returning to USA: medical insurance needed, pregnancy Hi, I'm an US citizen living abroad, I'm traveling with my 1 year old daughter to California and Nevada next August 24th to September 19th. I'm currently 13 weeks pregnant with no complications so far. I'm looking for a health insurance for both of us, and I'd like that any pregnancy issue is covered by the insurance. I've tried to find an insurance in your website but it seems none covers up pregnancy related medical costs. Do you have a plan that could cover pregnancy medical expenses? Thank you.
Thank you for your interest in purchasing insurance through us. Unfortunately, There is no plan for USC whose home country is outside US and visiting USA for a short visit which covers pregnancy. We have some plan for non US Citizen but not for USC. Insurance will pay for new sickness, injuries or accidents that may occur after the eff. date of the insurance anything related to pregnancy will be excluded. You can find some plans for new sickness or injuries at www.insubuy.com Please enter appropriate criteria. Citizenship select USC. You will find many plans and you can also compare them side by side.
