My parents are visiting United States in June 2016. Both my parents are above 70 and will be in United States for six (6) months. I would like your suggestion to purchase the Atlas series health insurance plan or any other plan that would has the Acute onset of pre-existing conditions. Please let me know my options and also provide me with the quotes for the same.
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. However there ar not any plans that you can purchase to cover the acute onset of anyone over the age of 69.
The Atlas America plan will only cover the new accidents and new illness that occur after the effective date of the policy as would any other.
The most limited pre-existing coverage for anyone 70+ would be in the amount of $2,500.00 and that would be for a sudden and unexpected reoccurrence of a pre-existing condition.
