My mother is 52 and in India, and last month she got issues related to menopause and she got extensive bleeding. But when she referred hospital, it stopped by medication and doctor mentioned and everything looks good and this might be related to menopause. She is planning to travel to USA for 5 months. What if get bleeding issues again? will that be considered as pre existing condition? Which insurance you will advise me to take?
Visitors insurance will generally pay for new medical conditions, injuries or a accident that did not exist before the effective date of the policy. The presence of pre-existing conditions would be determined based on medical reports at the time of incident. The Visitors Protect Insurance plan is the only plan that will cover pre-existing conditions but must be purchased before arriving in the USA. We also recommend having a Physician letter stating the insured is fit to fly prior to arriving in the USA.
