Health Insurance for visitor to USA My mother is visiting me on 6 May 2016 She has pre-existing condition Hypertension and Diabetes II (controlled with medications,no hospitalizations in India,her stress test ,blood work is within range) Very active recently retired. Whatever plan you see with acute onset of pre-ex coverage . It will be determined by the claim dept. based on the dr. notes whether that is acute onset of pre-existing conditions.
