General Visitor Insurance questions Thank you for the quotes. 1. Is there any restriction regarding time when we should get the insurance before the arrival of the visitors? If yes, when and what is the procedure? 2. What is the cancellation policy?
1. There is no restriction. Most of the plan has restriction that you have to purchase within 30 days of arrival date in USA for age 65+. But your visitors age is between 60-64yrs. So that restriction is not applicable in your case. But it always better to purchase insurance before they start their journey so if something happens during their travel will be covered. 2. Most of the plans you can cancel before the effective date you will get full refund. After the insurance effective date there will be either $25 or $50 cancellation fees and rest prorated premium you will get refund as long as there no claim has been filed since the original eff. date. If you let us know which plan do you want to purchase we can give cancellation policy for that particular plan. You can find cancellation policy next to each plan in the quote we sent you by e-mail.
