Travel Insurance USA I am a US citizen living in China. I need a policy from 7/3/2016 – 9/14/2016 while I am back home visiting in case of an accident or sudden illness. I am trying to fill out the application online. In the application what is the home country/follow me home question mean? I am also need to know if I can add my daughter born 7/26/2016 who is a US citizen and my husband who is a Chinese citizen born 4/12/1974 to this policy as well and the cost for all of us. thanks again
Thank you for providing the requested information The follow me home coverage benefit provides coverage for covered expenses in your home country up to $5,000 for conditions first diagnosed outside of your home country and treated while the policy is in force. Since your daughter is a U.S. Citizen you may include her on your application. You will have to purchase a separate policy for your husband. In order to send you a quote we will need to know your date of birth, and the state in which you will visit in the U.S. If you have any additional questions please let us know.
Thank you. I understand now and don’t need the follow me home part for any of us. My DOB is 10/31/1969 and we will be in Raleigh NC most of the time with a side trips to Michigan and Florida to visit relatives. Then please give me a quote for my daughter and I and then a separate one for my husband. a Plan E with a deductible 1000.00 and the 2500.00 deductible cost comparison.
