I am planning to buy a travel insurance for my sister and her daughter. I picked Atlas America Non-U.S. citizens traveling to the U.S. Coverage period is 06/26/2018-07/31/2018. My sister is 36 years old and her daughter is 9 now. Her birthday is 07/12/2018, and she will turn 10. Under that plan kids under 10 is covered free. After 07/12/2018 she will be 10 and she is not going to be covered? Or it does not matter the age for consideration is taking before the coverage stars? Or how it works? Please reply today and I can buy a plan. Otherwise I will go with different company. Thank you in advance.

The plan will still continue to cover the child under the policy. If you needed to extend the plan beyond the 7/31/2018 expiration date you would then start paying a premium for the child.
