Question:

I am a permanent resident. My mother lives in South Africa and she will be visiting my wife and I from August 26, 2019 until February 27, 2020. I am trying to look for the best visitors insurance and a way to pay monthly installments. I don't mind taking a 2 year plan out and pay for that, but would like to pay monthly. Can you help me with that?

Answer:

We would be glad to assist.

If you mother will be traveling to the U.S. on a B2 visitor visa, you can enter in her specific travel information to see what visitor plans she would be eligible for. You can find those plans here.

The maximum number of I-94 dates that would be granted to a visitor would be up to 6 months.  I am not sure what you mean by 2 year plan.

There are visitor plans that can be extended for example on a monthly basis up to the 6 months. They plans will not direct bill or draft payments monthly.  If for example you purchase a plan for 1 month, before that month expires, you would call us or go online to extend and purchase another month, or additional time.  Some plans for charge an extension/renewal fee.
