Answer:

You can all the information about Immigrant Secure plan at /visitor-secure-insurance/ You can get instant quotes and make instant purchase right there as well. If you have any other questions, please feel free to post them here or contact us at any time.

First, let me thank you for responding to a lot of questions here. I have been browsing these forums (this is my first post) and see you patiently explain/answer everything. I saw the Immigrant Secure brochure and liked many aspects of the plan. My specific questions are (sorry, some of them may be basic but I am new to this): 1. I was led to the plan through a general Google search. But I didn't see that plan listed when I searched insubuy for visitor insurance plans. I also didn't see this plan discussed much on the inubuy forum. Just curious if it was not popular or has some deficiency that I don't see. 2. I understand it is not a comprehensive plan but a fixed coverage plan. Is the plan part of any PPO network, where if I go to an in-network doctor/hospital, I will be responsible for only the contracted rate (less whatever insurance pays)? If so, can we do direct billing to the insurer? I didn't see the PPO mentioned specifically in their brochure, unless I missed something. What PPO networks are they part of, if any? 3. I assume Immigrant Secure plan will pay (subject to the deductible, plan max., covered benefit etc.) even if you visit an out of network doctor/facility, correct? Just that there will not be any contracted rate. 4. Does insubuy sell this policy? Is insubuy only an insurance agent/broker or does it perform any plan administration (for any plan, not just immigrant secure)? 5. One of the main difference I see between a comprehensive plan and a fixed coverage plan is the limited benefits for each incident and per incident deductible for fixed coverage plans. If the benefit limits are not too low (e.g. Plan D in Immigrant Secure) and one can afford to pay the per incident deductible (there is the $0 deductible option as well), my thinking is, these plans would likely cover the rest (if the limits are not too low). Is this correct thinking or am I missing something? 6. Finally, I wanted to see if anyone has personal experience with this plan. Particularly, if they have made a claim and got paid. As you noted in another post, we mainly hear (complaints) from folks who had issues with a plan but not always from folks when things go well. But the real test would be to hear from folks who actually made large claims on their policy and got paid as per the plan schedule. Thanks.

You are welcome. I would be glad to answer all of your questions. 1. There is no hidden deficiency or catch in the plan that you already don't see in the public documents available on our web site. 2. Please look at /visitor-secure-insurance/ It mentions that it participates in First Health/PHCS/CMN PPO networks. There will be contracted rates in PPO network and most providers in the network will directly bill. 3. There will be no network negotiated rates out of network. The insurance will pay according to the schedule of benefits for all eligible medical expenses. 4. We certainly sell Immigrant Secure policy. We offer all major visitors insurance plans available in the U.S. market. The definition of administration can vary to different people. You can contact us for understanding the details of the plans, for buying it and also for most post sale related administrative tasks for all the plans we sell. (Such as you didn't get the cards, need help in searching the Dr, renewal, cancellation, corrections etc.) However, the claims are handled by HCCMIS. Therefore, you can contact us for anything other than the claims related routine questions. Even for claims, you can always contact us if you run into any problems or need any help. 5. If the fixed coverage plans were enough, there would be no reason for anyone to pay more money and buy comprehensive coverage plans. And comprehensive coverage plans would not even exist. 6. In such cases, no news is good news. If someone has good experience and they never report, we really have no way to know what happened. New customers (and we) would like to know about the positive experiences, but most current customers simply don't care to report good experiences. I am sorry but that is the reality. I welcome anyone who had any positive experience with any plan to post in detail. I hope this answers your questions. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us at any time or post them here.
