I was looking at your plans and I have a few questions. In the Atlas International plan I noticed that there was coverage for skiing included. I would like to know if this covers off piste within the ski area boundary with guides. Also, would ski patrol be covered or would you need to buy that insurance with the lift ticket? Can you see anyone available or only those listed in the ppo? Would the insurance be billed by the facility or would you have to pay up front? If you can suggest a plan that would include those issues, that would be great.
Thank you for your interest in purchasing insurance through us. In the Atlas Internationalplan snow skiing is excluded except for recreational downhill (no coverage provided while skiing away from prepared and marked in-bound territories). Ski patrol would not be included. You can see any provider since the concept of the PPO network is only in the U.S. Outside of the U.S. you would go to any provider and it would be up to that provider if they would expect payment up-front or if they will bill the insurance directly.
