Schengen Travel Insurance I am looking for travel insurance for one day. I know sounds funny. I am applying transit visa for Schengen countries. What you can provide for me? Here is what embassy requires: Proof of travel insurance providing coverage in the Schengen countries: stating name of insurance company, type of coverage (medical emergencies including repatriation) and amount of coverage (equivalent US amount of 30,000 Euro), option of direct payment (insurance company must have a service provider in the Schengen area or an arrangement with a service provider in the Schengen area, no deductible, no reimbursement policy accepted). Please note:letters and insurance cards from U.S. health insurance companies cannot be accepted.
