Travel to USA -- US citizen My son is a US citizen coming to US for his education. His insurance coverage will start from Sep 22nd. So from August 3rd to Sept 22 I need some health insurance for him. I checked and got this on your website 1. Safe travels USA cost saver 2. Liaison continent A 3. Liaison continent B 4. Liaison Majestic The premiums are different -- based on claim settlement efficiency which of the above is better. Please suggest Please note I had purchased insurance via Insubuy for his US travel recently.
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. As a U.S. citizen moving back to the United States for studies he is essentially just coming back to his home country. This make him ineligible for any visitors insurance plans as he is not considered to be a visitor. In order to purchase a visitors insurance he has to have plans to leave the country upon entering as it would be a temporary visit. Since he is moving back to the United States the plan that he is eligible for a U.S. citizen for short term insurance is a short term domestic plan. If you would like the provide the state in which he will require coverage we can send plans that he would be eligible for.
