My employee from Mexico will be returning to Mexico on December 23, 2019. She is here on a TN visa that is valid until October 2020. Could I get an extension of her policy from November 18 through December 23rd?
The plan that she was on is a visitor plan for someone in the U.S. on a B2 visa, not someone working temporarily in the U.S.
If she is not eligible for employer coverage, we would recommend obtaining a plan through the Health Care Exchange in the state in which she resides while here, or she would be eligible for our short term plan. I have attached the link for the short term plan for you to review:
