Question regarding the insurance I found your site thanks to another Au Pair currently living in the USA. I need to purchase a Travel/Health Insurance for two weeks, from August 25th to September 8th. I have several questions: - I don't really understand the "Deductible". I read the description but don't know what this means. - I plan to rent a car in California and I know the Rental Cars Agencies ask us to be covered , otherwise we have to pay an extra for the LWD. Does the insurance your provide covers Car Rental Insurance needs?
The deductible is an amount you choose to be responsible for in the event of a claim. If you go to a doctor for a new illness and you have chosen a $250 deductible then you will have to pay the first $250 before the plan will pay anything. The plans do not offer rental car coverage. If you need additional assistance please feel free to contact our office.
