o1 visa insurance needed Hello, I am in the US working on an o1 visa. I am interested in getting your health insurance to cover me for the 2016 year. I am wondering if your health insurance will satisfy the IRS Health Insurance tax? If so, will I receive paperwork to support my 2016 tax return?

Short term plans are not PPACA compliant plan so we will not be able to provide you paper work to support your 2016 tax return. Are you eligible to enroll under your employer insurance? Thank you for the speedy reply. I looked at your short term plans (as I am not eligible for insurance from my workplace,) and noticed they also said that no documents would be sent suggesting I had a PPACA compliant plan. Do you receive anything for a tax return, or would this plan not be ideal for these purposes?
That is correct, the short term plans are not PPACA compliant so would not offer any documentation for tax purposes. If you purchase a short term plan you would be responsible for the tax penalty. If you need additional information please feel free to contact our office.
