I'm an American and my wife is a Mexican National and we both live in Ensenada. I'm looking for an insurance plan here in Baja Ca for us both. I don't know where to start. One thing I do know is we do not want the public health insurance Seguro Social provided by the government.We are looking for a plan that allows us to go to a Dr. when necessary for test and preventative checkups. Can anyone help with what's available here for us?
Our plans cover someone when traveling outside of their country of residence.
We would not have plans that can cover you where you live.
You state you live in Ensenada but are looking for coverage in Baja Ca. If you are stating you are
going to be traveling to California, we would have plans for travel medical, however, those plans cover
for new illnesses and new injuries contracted after the effective date. They would not cover for the things you
mentioned such as preventative care, routine maintenance or pre-existing conditions.
