My mother is US green card holder for last few years. Is she eligible to get health insurance through you? She has no insurance in past and present so far. She is living in USA for last few years- currently in India for last 5 months and coming back to USA. She is not covered under Medicare. She is 67 yrs and will stay in Florida. She is green card holder. Please let me know.
There are plans she will be eligible for in the New Immigrant section as long as she is not eligible for Medicare or a long term domestic plan. The short term plans she is eligible for will cover any new illness or injury that occurs after the effective date. They will not cover any pre-existing conditions, preventative care, or routine maintenance.
