Health Insurance for Living in China for a Year Hi Insubuy, I am looking into insurance for my nephew who will be spending a year in China. He is 26 years old, lives in Kentucky and is a US citizen. I have decided on Atlas International for his Travel/Medical Insurance. As he will be living in an apartment while in China I feel we also need renters insurance and personal liability insurance. Do you offer this? If not, do you know a reliable company that does? Thanks for any help you can offer.

Please provide the dates of coverage that your nephew will be needing and we can see if we will be able to make some recommendation for plan details. For medical coverage the Atlas International plan is most definitely a wonderful option, as there are a lot of benefits that are available with that plan. Starting April 1, 2016 the Atlas International plan will offer benefits for personal Liability up to $90,000 dollars buy up in addition to the $10,000 benefit that is included within the plan to total $100,000 in personal liability coverage. Hi Inusbuy, Thanks for such a quick response. He will be leaving the US on June 23, 2016 and returning July 1, 2017. He will be living in a furnished apartment while in China. $100.000 in personal liability coverage seems like it should be sufficient. Any help with renters insurance would be greatly appreciated.
