Insurance for international student at Northeastern university Hi. I'm Northeastern graduate student. Now I am trying to waive School insurance. 2 weeks ago, I submitted my insurance from my country, Korea in order to waive school insurance. But, they rejected my waiver. These are their reasons to reject my waiver. 1. The Health Plan providers main corporate office must be based in the United States. 2. A health plan that provides coverage through a closed network of providers (for example, coverage by an HMO) and which is accessible only for emergency services where the student is studying is not comparable coverage.
