Hello I have accepted an overseas job and will no longer maintain residence in the US. My current health insurance will run up June 30. My new health insurance will begin on Aug 1 in Africa. I will be traveling within the us for the summer. Can I buy a visitors plan for my family even tho we all have US passports At the time we will not have a residence in the US. Im just looking for one month of coverage just in the event of an emergency. We will not need any other care.
If you are U.S. citizens, we have one plan that can provide temporary coverage. However, you are stating you will be traveling so the plan would have to be available in all states in which you are traveling.
You will be able to see what states the plan is availalbe in and obtain quotes through this link: /short-term-health-insurance/
