Thank you for the reply I have one further question regarding hazardous sports. I am a PADI scuba diving instructor and have diving liability insurance which shouldn't influence the health insurance. I am how ever a member of Divers Alert Network(DAN) and i do currently have an insurance policy with them which only covers me if i am involved in a diving related injury. Does reside blue consider diving a hazardous sport even if i do it professionally? and would my DAN membership have any influence on the reside blue health insurance? I look forward to your reply. Kind regards

If you are PADI certified, it is not considered to be a hazardous sport. You can purchase the Reside Blue plan, but we would encourage you to keep your DAN policy, due to the following exclusion: Injury sustained while taking part in flying in any aircraft being used for or in connection with acrobatic or stunt flying, racing, endurance tests, rocket-propelled aircraft, crop dusting or seeding or spraying, fire fighting, exploration, pipe or power line inspection, any form of hunting or herding, aerial photography, banner towing or any experimental purpose, kite surfing, mountaineering where ropes or guides are normally used, hang gliding, parachuting, bungee jumping, racing by any animal or motor or motorcycle, rodeo, snowmobiling, skiing/boarding by snow (except for recreational downhill and/or cross country skiing) or water, potholing or caving, whitewater rafting, scuba diving, involving underwater breathing apparatus - unless PADI, NAUI, YMCA, SSI or PDIC certified, and i.) Diving without properly maintained, appropriate, working diving equipment; ii.) any diving below 40 meters; iii.) any type of cave diving; iv.) solo diving; v.) any air travel within 24 hours of diving or any diving within 10 hours of any air travel; vi.) diving by any Insured Person(s) under the age of 12 or over the age of 65; vii.) diving while suffering any Illness causing an obstruction to the sinuses or ears or diving while medically unfit to dive; viii.) Treatment of any condition that worsens or requires additional Treatment due to diving. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
