Travel insurance just for tour, separate from air travel Plan purchase question, please Four adults are traveling to India in December. We are buying our air travel separate from our tour. Can you advise how both can be covered with trip insurance? We planned to purchase the Travelite with additional $100K of emergency medical. Thanks for your response.

Thank you for your quick response. If we purchase air travel now, then some weeks later, can we add the tour costs? Or, does the purchace need to be at the same time as a package? Also, since you seem to be in the "know" about this region, can you refer me to a web site or otherwise advise on what the weather might be like in December hiking up to Camp Leti? I've been looking up the small towns we are walking to along the way such as Deora, Alai, and Jawalbanj, but cannot find weather information. Thanks again. Have a great trip!
1. You can add the tour costs later. 2. Unfortunately, I am not aware of those places that you mention. It seems that you are going on a adventurous trip in remote locations. But, in general, weather is pleasant in most plains areas. However, up in the mountains, it would be quite cold. Sorry, but I don't know more details. India is a big and widely varied country.
