I am coordinating a summer program at Princeton University for which we will be hosting a number of students on our campus in New Jersey for 9 weeks, from June 10 to August 10. One of our students, who is a resident of Puerto Rico, will not have valid health insurance for this summer period. Could you let me know what options you might have for covering her for the duration of the program?
Unfortunately, since they are considered a US citizen the plans we have for international students will not cover them. Another option would be short term domestic plans. You could call the State Department of Insurance in NJ for short term options. If you have additional questions please feel free to contact our office
