I'm wanting to buy insurance as I am studying in the US at fall and I'm looking to purchase insurance with the following requirements - benefit maximum must be no less that $100,000 - Plan deductible must exceed $500 per plan deductible - minimum of $50,000 for medical evacuation and minimum of $25,000 for repatriation. Although can I purchase plan as I am currently in Australia???

You're below requirements appear to be for the J1, however I am attaching the quote links for both our F1 plans and J1 plans so you can choose accordingly.

There are a couple of plans that are not available if you are currently in Australia at the time of purchase. You would either purchase a different plan or you would need to wait until you are not physically in Australia to purchase.
