I'm an incoming international student (MBA Program) at University of Pennsylvania. I am currently looking for an appropriate 1-year health insurance plan for myself , J1 visa holder), and my spouse (J2 visa holder). I am interested in your "Patriot Platinum America" plan and would like to ask 3 questions: 1. If we enroll in this plan, can we have access to University of Pennsylvania's student health center? 2. Does this plan satisfy the minimum requirements set by University of Pennsylvania? Below is the requirements: If you are covered under your won health insurance or that of parents, you may maintain your coverage if it meets the following criteria: - Your insurance plan must be provided by a company licensed to do business in the United States, with a U.S. claims payments office and a U.S. telephone number. The company must have a process to remit payments to provider within the U.S. - Your insurance plan must provide coverage for pre-existing conditions, or have been in effect long enough that any waiting period has passed. - Your insurance plan must offer an annual maximum benefit of at least $2,000,000. - Your insurance plan must provide fir both in-patient and out-patient mental health care in Philadelphia area. A policy that provides only emergency or urgent medical care services in this area does not meet this requirement. -Your insurance plan must provide coverage for both in-patient and out-patient medical care in the Philadelphia area, including routine office visits, specialist office visits, diagnostic testing, imaging and physical therapy. A policy that provides only emergency or urgent medical care in this area does not meet this requirements. 3 Does this plan satisfy the minimum requirements set for J1 and J2 Visa Holders? If the "Patriot Platinum America" plan does not meet any one of the above 3 conditions, can you kindly suggest any plan of yours that meet all the above 3 conditions?

The Patriot Platinum America plan does not meet these requirements listed. Your university requires a plan that cover pre-existing conditions without a waiting period which no plan that we can offer you will do.

It is recommended that you purchase insurance from your University.
