Question:

Patriot Exchange plan for J1/J2 Good day! I had contacted your a month ago regarding the purchase of a health insurance for J1/J2 visa holders who are in US for short-term research at the Colorado State University, CO. I have now arrived at CO and formally joined the University. It is time that I bought a health insurance plan that covers the J1/J2 requirements for me and my wife. In an earlier correspondence with you, I was suggested to go for the Patriot Exchange plan from IMG. Could you please update me if that is the best plan for J1/J2 visa type and if it covers medical evacuation and repatriation with a total insured sum of $ 500,000? Please note that I would like to purchase for 2 months upfront. It would be nice if you can tell me the amount that I need to pay as per month premium and the total amount payable at the time of purchase.

Many thanks for replying. My age is 35 yrs and my wife is 30 yrs. We need coverage till Dec-2016 and renewable afterwards when we renew our visa. May I know if I can purchase online via online banking? I have not yet received a credit card from my bank.

The plans listed are renewable so you can renew as needed. As for payment options, you can also use a temporary card as long as it has a Visa or MasterCard logo. If you need additional assistance please feel free to contact our office.
