Hi, my husband is on j1visa studying in Boston. I am on j2 visa and interested in insurance that covers maternity. Iam already and its 26 weeks now. Can I get a insurance for cover maternity? There is no insurance we have made before. Please advise which program best suits my situation. And which insurance will be covered complications of pregnancy?
There is unfortunately not a plan that you can purchase to cover maternity related expenses. Plans at most cover the complications of pregnancy but that is for the first 26 weeks which you are currently at so this coverage would not be applicable for you.
The available plans are going to cover the new accidents and new illnesses that happen after the effective date of the policy.
