J1 visitor insurance needed I'm a female 36 years old. I need a quotation for an individual health insurance from March 1st. The coverage has to encompass Boston. I'm Argentinian (I'll be in the US with a J1 visa) and going to UMass Boston. The insurance has to attend some requirements: Medical benefits of at least $100,000 per illness and a deductible not to exceed $500 per illness or accident. To comply with these regulations, health insurance policies must at a minimum be underwritten by corporations having one of the following: A.M. Best policy holder rating of A- or above, an Insurance Solvency International, Ltd. rating of A- or above, a Standard and Poor's claims-paying ability rating of A- or above, or a Weiss Research Inc. rating of B+ or above. Insurance backed by the full faith and credit of the exchange visitor's (J-1 scholars) government will meet this requirement.
