I am a Postdoc just joined UNC at Charlotte, and I am seeking health insurance for my wife (born on 11/17/1982 and my daughter born on 10/17/2014, and a younger daughter born on 03/10/2017 ). I am looking for an insurance plan which covers immunization and vaccination for my younger daughter.
There is no short term plan that you can purchase only for J2 visa holders which covers immunization and vaccination unless you get insurance through your school which will be very expensive.
Insurance will pay for any new sickness, injuries or accidents that may occur after the eff. date of the policy. Insurance will not cover any pre-existing or preventive care.
