I am currently wanting to purchase Schengen insurance to apply for shengen VISA. My question is if I dont get visa or dont go for any reason to this trip and cancel the insurance before the effective date, will I get full refund?
You can get the full refund before the effective date of the policy, provided you show us the proof that you didn't get the visa, or your trip has been cancelled and why. Please note that we are also required to submit the information to the Schengen consulate about your cancellation. Please keep in mind that, while visiting Schengen area, you are required to keep the valid insurance for the entire duration.
