Civil liability insurance We are interested in purchasing travel insurance for a Schengen (France) visa. I understand from reading the details on your website that the medical insurance requirement for this Visa is satisfied by your insurance. However, I am unclear whether the "civil liability" requirement is also covered by your insurance policy. Please see item #13 for details: https://vancouver.consulfrance.org/spip.php?article409 Can you please confirm?
That is referring to a property and casualty type insurance. This would not be covered under the medical insurance, you should speak to your auto/homeowners insurance agent.
