The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS)—which was developed by the PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) created by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and JCB—is an extensive set of technical and operational standards that a company needs to follow to ensure that all companies that process, store, or transmit credit card information maintain a secure environment.

The Oakland Community College Orchard Ridge Campus, located in Farmington Hills, Michigan, is one of the five campuses of Oakland Community College. It was established in 1967. The Orchard Ridge campus is home to OCC’s award-winning Culinary Studies Institute, from which several students and faculty have been awarded state, national, and international culinary awards. Members of the community are invited to taste student-cooked gourmet meals for themselves at one of the two campus restaurants. Orchard Ridge is also known for its focus on fine arts and the performing arts, as well as several design programs. The on-campus Wallace F. Smith Theatre offers cultural events like theater and dance performances open to the community at large. Orchard Ridge is also known for its international student population and English as a Second Language (ESL) program.
As a whole, Oakland Community College boasts the third-largest undergraduate enrollment in the state of Michigan. It currently enrolls almost 16,000 students and counting each year. The school colors are green and white, and its mascot is the raider.
OCC offers almost 100 programs leading to five degrees: Associate in Applied Science, Associate in Arts, Associate in Business Administration, Associate in General Studies, and Associate in Science. OCC is also the top transfer institution in Michigan; it has almost 300 transfer agreements with almost 30 four-year institutions throughout the U.S. Almost half of OCC students transfer to a four-year institution.
As far as student life, OCC boasts a competitive speech and performance team that has won both state and national championships.
Notable OCC alumni include NASA astronaut Andrew Feustel; professional wrestler and MMA fighter Myles Jury; musician Ted Nugent; and Tomo Milicevic, lead guitarist for the band Thirty Seconds to Mars.
