General Information

Located in a rural, Inuit-dominated region, this campus came into being after an act of the state legislature in 1976. It was formerly known as Northwest Community College, and in 1987, it became a branch of the University of Alaska Fairbanks and changed its name to the UAF Northwest Campus.
