ASU Havasu, stylized as ASU@Lake Havasu City and located in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, is a campus of Arizona State University that was established in 2012. It was founded as a way to bring higher-education opportunities to a region that had to that point been underserved by the state university system. The school offers undergraduate degrees in high-demand fields like technology, psychology, health and environmental sciences, criminal justice, organizational leadership, and political science. The school emphasizes its lower tuition and experiential learning techniques as its major draws. ASU Havasu enrolls about 150 students and counting each year.
Campus amenities include residential housing and a fitness center less than two miles from the shore of Lake Havasu.
About Arizona State University
The main campus of Arizona State University, located in Tempe, Arizona, was established in 1885. It was established as the Territorial Normal School and opened its doors to students in 1886.
