Does a TRAVEL LX policy (or any other Travel policies) expressly cover cancellation of a trip to Italy because I contract COVID within 72 hours of departure and am not allowed on a plane to Italy? If yes, please also cite wording in policy contract.Similarly, if I contract COVID while traveling, and cannot board a plane back to U.S., does the TRAVEL LX travel policy (or any other Travel policies) expressly cover accommodation and subsistence costs while awaiting Recovery prior to return to U.S.? Thank you for contacting Insubuy. for the cancelation for reason of contracting Covid would fall under the Cancel for medical reason benefit on page 4 of the certificate wording. you will also find the quarantine otherwise known as trip delay on page 11.
