Exchange Visitors

All J-1 and J-2 exchange visitors are required to purchase insurance that meets the Standard Requirements. All J-1 Exchange visitors must obtain health insurance for the full duration of their participation in the Exchange Visitor program as stated by the U.S Department of State, and are federally mandated to have the adequate health insurance coverage. Provided these details, J-1 visa holders can choose from the selected option on the plans provide below, or by going to the Exchange Visitor (J-1/J-2) section on the webpage. All plans under the Exchange Visitor (J-1/J-2) section meets the requirements mandated by the Department of State. It is recommended to contact the ISSO to verify the health insurance requirements prior to purchase.
