A waiver is available for a plan that is comparable to the one provided.

Exchange Visitors 

Trinity Washington University does not provide information regarding the J visa Exchange Visitor Program (EVP) or J-1 Visiting Scholar program. However, U.S. Department of State regulations state that all that J visa holders must obtain and maintain health insurance that meets the federal standards for the full duration of their time in the U.S. All plans under the Exchange Visitor (J-1/J-2) section will meet the requirements mandated by the Department of State.
