SkySong – The ASU Scottsdale Innovation Center (ASU SkySong), located in Scottsdale, Arizona, is an exclusive intellectual property management company established by the university in 2008. SkySong’s goal is to attract cutting-edge, innovative companies—ranging from world-renowned brands to small startups—and integrate the resources of ASU with the opportunities of the private sector. It’s gained a reputation as one of the top economic engines and an epicenter of economic activity in the state. ASU SkySong is an innovation center that helps companies grow by providing business services and programs. 

SkySong is a joint venture among ASU, the City of Scottsdale, ASU Enterprise Partners, and the Plaza Companies. The campus consists of five buildings organized around a central, shade-covered plaza. The buildings lease office space to its partner companies as well as hosting educational training, instruction, and more. It’s also the headquarters of ASU Online, the university’s digital campus.

SkySong is located three miles from ASU’s Tempe campus and 15 minutes from Sky Harbor International Airport.

About Arizona State University

The main campus of Arizona State University, located in Tempe, Arizona, was established in 1885. It was established as the Territorial Normal School and opened its doors to students in 1886. It went through several name changes until it adopted its present name in 1958. It offers about 350 undergraduate degree options and more than 400 graduate degree and certificate programs. Its colors are maroon and gold, and its athletic nickname is the sun devils.
