There are many stringent requirements, including but not limited to:
PCI DSS has six major objectives, 12 key requirements, 78 base requirements, and over 400 test procedures. Click here for more information.
When a business is PCI-compliant, it means that that the business reviews and follows the guidelines set forth by the credit card companies to help ensure your credit card information is protected and your personal information is secure.
With a strong base of liberal arts, Saint Joseph’s University (SJU) provides practical education in multiple disciplines. Established for 170 years, it is the nation’s seventh-oldest Jesuit University. SJU carries forward the legacy of instilling a sense of community service and thoughtful leadership in its students. Those enrolled are made to understand that professional excellence and social responsibility are not mutually exclusive, but complementary. This is the outcome of the well-rounded education that SJU provides.
Hands-on learning that is based on real-world requirements is the essence of the pedagogy at SJU. A commendable 11:1 student-faculty ratio further bolsters the scope for individualized attention for the students. This ratio is 7:1 for graduate programs. These are just a few of the reasons why SJU is ranked amongst the top 10 regional universities in the north in 2022 (as per the U.S. News and World Report).

SJU also conducts a large number of Adult Learner programs in diverse subjects. This helps working adults to sharpen their skills, thereby increasing their competitive edge in the workplace.
Modern skyscrapers tower over historical monuments in the heritage city of Philadelphia. You will have lots to keep you occupied whenever you get time to explore the city. It’s a very safe city by all counts, so all you need to maintain are basic safety protocols regarding physical health.
Certain natural phenomena like high temperatures, inland flooding, and snowing in winter are things you need to watch out for. This is nothing to get alarmed about; just don’t ignore the weather updates.
And although vehicular traffic is a concern in any major city, it deserves mentioning. Always be careful when crossing streets. Only cross at crosswalks, and look both ways before proceeding. Vehicle-pedestrian accidents are not uncommon in a large city like Philadelphia.
It takes several years of hard work to earn a degree at SJU. Can you guarantee you’ll never get sick or suffer an injury during that entire time? Of course not. Getting sick or hurt can happen to anyone. Because of this, it is essential that you have health insurance coverage to protect you from massive medical bills.
Every international student must have the requisite health insurance coverage while being at SJU. You can choose to enroll in the university-sponsored plan, or waive the coverage for a comparable plan that you purchase on your own. Find all the details below in the Insurance Requirements secion.
You can’t predict when you might need to receive medical treatment facilities during your stay at SJU. But, do remember that healthcare doesn’t come cheap in the U.S. Make sure to have health insurance to protect yourself financially in such a situation. Without it, even a minor medical issue could leave you in major debt.
You will be offered the opportunity to enroll in SJU’s sponsored insurance plan when you enroll. If you research that plan and decide it is sufficient, then your search is done.
However, if would like to waive that plan, or need to get insurance for your dependents from another provider, it pays to do your research and compare several plans meeting the requirements outlined below. You should select the option that provides optimum coverage, while charging a reasonable premium.
