The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS)—which was developed by the PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) created by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and JCB—is an extensive set of technical and operational standards that a company needs to follow to ensure that all companies that process, store, or transmit credit card information maintain a secure environment.

Oklahoma State University—Tulsa (OSU-Tulsa), located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is a member of the Oklahoma State University system established in 1999. It was previously known as the University Center at Tulsa. OSU-Tulsa is considered an extension of the main OSU campus in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The urban campus in the downtown area provides students with a variety of internship and volunteer opportunities. OSU-Tulsa enrolls almost 2,300 students each year and counting.
OSU-Tulsa offers bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, doctoral degrees, and graduate certificates. As a transfer university, it offers only junior- and senior-level courses. Many of its students transfer from the nearby Tulsa Community College. Many of its academic offerings are geared toward adult learners with full-time jobs: Most on-campus classes are offered one night a week and start at 4:30 p.m. or later. There are also a wide variety of online and hybrid class options available.
Like the flagship institution in Stillwater, OSU-Tulsa has a strong research presence. The Helmerich Research Center focuses on four main areas: materials for energy technologies, bio-materials for medical technologies, advanced materials for aerospace, and materials for electronics and control technologies. Other research centers include the Center for Family Resilience, the Center for Poets and Writers, the Center for Public Life, and the Veteran Success Center.
Campus amenities include traditional classrooms, distance-learning classrooms, computer labs, and a conference center area. The OSU-Tulsa Library is home to a number of special collections like the Route 66 Collections, the Ruth Sigler Avery Collection, and the Oklahoma Center for Poets & Writers Manuscript Collections.
