assistance for thefts involving non-US bank accounts.
Provides reimbursement up to 100% of non-refundable trip cost for an additional 50% of premium when you cancel for any reason. Available for purchase at initial deposit.
If the Insured purchased the Optional Cancel for Any Reason Benefit and cancels his/her Covered Trip for any reason not otherwise covered by this plan, we will reimburse the Insured for the percentage of the prepaid, forfeited, non-refundable Payments or Deposits the Insured paid for his/her Trip provided:
1. the Insured's payment for this plan is received within 24 hours of the date the Insured's initial deposit for his/her Covered Trip is received; and
2. the Insured is not disabled from travel at the time the Insured pays his/her premium; and
3. the Insured insures 100% of all prepaid Covered Trip costs that are subject to cancellation penalties or restrictions; and
4. the Covered Trip cost per person is no more than $10,000; and
5. the Insured cancels his/her Covered Trip 48 hours or more before his/her scheduled Covered Trip departure date.

Cancel for Any Reason: Additional 50% of Base Premium
Pre-existing medical condition exclusion is waived if purchased by final
trip payment and you are medically able to travel at time of purchase.
We will not pay for any loss under the plan caused by or resulting from:
- your, your Traveling Companion’s, or Family Member’s suicide, attempted
suicide, or intentionally self-inflicted injury, while sane or insane (while
sane in CO & MO);
- mental, nervous, or psychological disorders;
- being under the influence of drugs or intoxicants, unless prescribed
by a Physician;
- normal pregnancy or resulting childbirth or elective abortion;
- participation as a professional in athletics;
- participation in organized amateur and interscholastic athletic or sports
competition or events;
- riding or driving in any motor competition;
- declared or undeclared war, or any act of war;
- civil disorder (does not apply to Travel Delay);
- service in the armed forces of any country;
- nuclear reaction, radiation or radioactive contamination;
- operating or learning to operate any aircraft, as pilot or crew;
- any unlawful acts, committed by you, a Traveling Companion or Family
Member traveling with you (whether insured or not);
- any amount paid or payable under any Worker’s Compensation, disability
benefit or similar law;
- a loss or damage caused by detention, confiscation or destruction
by customs;
- Elective Treatment and Procedures;
- pandemic and/or epidemic;
- medical treatment during or arising from a Trip undertaken for the
purpose or intent of securing medical treatment;
- business, contractual, or educational obligations of you, a Family
Member, or Traveling Companion;
- failure of any tour operator, Common Carrier, or other travel supplier,
person or agency to provide the bargained-for travel arrangements;
- a loss that results from an illness, disease, or other
condition, event or circumstance which occurs at a time
when the plan is not in effect for you.

Covered Sickness, Injury, death of you, a Family Member
or Traveling Companion
Common Carrier delays resulting from Inclement Weather, mechanical breakdown, or unannounced Strikes
Financial Insolvency of a travel supplier (when purchased
by final trip payment)
Jury Duty
Your primary residence or accommodations at your
destination are made uninhabitable by fire, flood, volcano,
earthquake, hurricane or other natural disaster
Being involved in a traffic accident while en route
to departure
Mandatory hurricane evacuations at your destination
Being called into active military service to provide aid or
relief in the event of a natural disaster
A documented theft of passports or visas
A transfer of employment of 250 miles or more
Your involuntary termination of employment or layoff after
you’ve been working with the same employer for 1 year
A Terrorist Incident that occurs in a city listed on the
itinerary for the Insured's Covered Trip and within 7 days
prior to the Insured's Scheduled Departure Date
Need a pet sitter or veterinarian while on vacation? Our
concierge service can help you find what you need while on
your trip.
CSA Travel Protection® will provide a refund of your
insurance premium if you cancel your insurance within 10
days of purchase and have not filed a claim or departed on
your trip.
CSA is committed to providing the best customer service
in the industry. Representatives are available seven days
a week with 24-hour coverage. Calls are answered live,
without an automated phone attendant.
- This product is priced per person. Up to ten travelers are allowed on each policy.
- The maximum trip length for this product is 365 days.
- This product will provide coverage for unforeseeable Financial Insolvency of the travel supplier if the client purchases the policy prior to/or within 24 hours of their final trip payment (not scheduled final payment).
- The exclusion for Pre-Existing Conditions will be waived if the policy is purchased prior to or within 24 hours of the final payment for the trip and the Insured is not disabled from travel at the time the policy is purchased.
- The look back period for the Pre-Existing Medical Conditions exclusion is 180 days.
- The Travel Delay effective period is 6 hours.
- Cancel for Business Reasons is not included or optional on this product.

Cancel for any reason will be included on an optional basis. The client may choose to purchase this benefit for an additional 50% of premium.
a. In order to qualify for the Cancel for Any Reason benefit, the following stipulations must be met:
- Must purchase benefit prior to or within 24 hours of initial deposit.
