Military student needs insurance to cover family visit to USA Hi, I'm military student at the army war college, I intend to bring my family to Carlisle from July 12, 2016 to June 11, 2017. my wife 36 y, my son 13 y and my daughter 7 y. I ask for the less expensive health insurance, For the military if there is a discount. Thanks for replying me ASAP.
Thank you for your interest in purchasing insurance through us. For us to recommend a plan we will need additional information. What visa status will your family be coming on? Is there any requirements that need to be met? The lower cost plans will be the fixed coverage plans. Those plans will pay a fixed amount according to a schedule of benefits so if anything happens the majority of the cost will come from your pocket. For example, if someone needed to go to an emergency room, one plan would pay up to $330 and you would be responsible for the balance. The plan will pay a small dollar amount and the majority of the medical cost will be paid by you. The cost of the plans are regulated by law so it’s not possible to offer a discount.
