Q:I am a US permanent resident and Iranian citizen. I need an insurance for a trip to Germany and Austria. I have purchased before for Italy. I couldn't find all the benefits required this time in the plans. I need the medical evacuation, repatriation and medical expenses covered. I have used Patriot America before. Please view the list of requirements for health insurance below for my university: University of South Carolina Insurance Requirements To waive out of the university-sponsored Student Health Insurance Plan, your health insurance coverage must: -Be effective as of August 1 for the fall term or January 1 for the spring term. -Extend through the semester you've waived out for, including breaks and holidays. -Allow you to receive services in South Carolina. -Give you unlimited aggregate maximum benefit per policy year per covered person. -Not have a pre-existing condition limitation. -Have an out-of-pocket limit per policy year that does not exceed $6,350 per individual and $15,000 per family. -Have a combined benefit of $100,000 for medical evacuation and repatriation of remains. -Provide the Essential Minimum Benefits required by the PPACA with no annual limits. -Contain no exclusions for pre-existing conditions. -Covers 100% of Preventive Care as defined by the PPACA -Required for all plans according to the Patient Protection Affordable Care Act: Ambulatory Patient Services Chronic Disease Management Emergency Services Hospitalization Laboratory Services Maternity and Newborn Care Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Treatments (including behavioral health treatment) Prescription Drugs Preventive and Wellness services (including dental and vision) Rehabilitative and Habilitative Services and Devices Please let me know if you offer comparable plans, I will need coverage for myself (F1 student visa) and my wife (F2 spouse visa), please let me know if you need more information to obtain a quote.
Q:I am Indian and came to USA in Sep 2017 on J1 Visa and my university provided medical and repatriation insurance. Now I joined new institute and they provide only medical insurance whereas I need to buy medical evacuation and repatriation insurance. Being already present in the USA and not in my home country, am I eligible to buy medical evacuation and repatriation insurance while present in USA?
Q:My parents are on GC since 2013/2014. Doing 6 months stay every year when possible here in US. They will be eligible for Citizenship in 6 to 9 months. I have took atlas insurance until now but very recently came to know that it may not cover GC holders.
Q:Hello, I am going to leave Switzerland (where I currently live) on 17.8.2018. I am officially de-registered from this date and will have no more health insurance, accident insurance or third party insurance. When I arrive in Spain my insurances will not be set up yet because I need to organise my paperwork before any of this can be organised. So I would like a temporary insurance that covers health, accident and third party for a couple of months to get me through this window of time. Can you offer me any insurance for this? I have seen your travel insurance option. Does this work for me? I am unsure whether it will work because my permanent address will no longer be in Switzerland. Many thanks
