The plans from our Schengen Visa section of the website would be the correct plans. The plans are designed to cover you anywhere outside of the country and will start from your chosen date. You would have to pay separately for the plans since you are purchasing for different return dates. Once you have completed the purchase you will receive an email confirmation with all of the policy documents. If you have any additional questions please feel free to contact our office.

Q:Hello, I am a US citizen looking for insurance for a short stay in the US. I am moving from Israel to Austria, leaving my job in Israel at the end of December 2018 and moving to Austria to start a new job at the end of Feb. 2019. I am visiting family in the US between jobs, and would like to purchase insurance for this visit. My questions are the following: (1) this gap between residences means that in a sense I have no home address for about two months, so I would like to confirm that, if I purchase a diplomat America plan for expats for those two months, I will really be covered during my visit to the US and will not accidentally invalidate the policy. And (2) if, yes, then what home address or "permanent residence" should I list, for this two-month period? Thanks!

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy. There is a plan called Patriot America Plus that you are eligible to purchase as a United States citizen coming back to the U.S. for a visit. If you have an address in your new plan in Austria wit would be OK to use that address you just cannot have a U.S. address and be eligible for the Patriot America Plus Plan. If you have any additional questions please contact our office.

I see that the Atlas insurance is mostly covering health-related emergencies, but how about these related to flights, loss of goods etc? Also, which health institutions are part of your network? Would the reimbursement go directly through them?
