Q:My parents are coming back to US from India on May 8th 2019, they had your insurance, can you again set me up with the monthly plan they already had? Btw, I just bought insurance for my MIL also from your company, she had insurance from India but I bought it for the period she didn't have. Being a repeat customer, it will be great if you can get me a good rate for my mom and dad.

A:
We would be glad to assist. We can send you a quote for the plan you previously had for your parents. We would need to confirm they are coming on B1/B2 visitor visas, and need to know the exact coverage dates you are wanting. Once we send the quote, the deductible will default to $250.00. You can use the drop down within the quote to change the deductible if you would like. The previous policy you purchased, you had chosen a $500 deductible. Once we receive this information, we will email the quote to you. You can then either purchase it online through the link, or contact our office directly, and we can assist over the phone. As far as the rates, the plan pricing is regulated by law. The pricing is a daily rate based on the age of the insured, the policy maximum, and the deductible chosen. Therefore, there are not discounts or reduced premiums that can be offered. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Q:I am interested in the Patriot America plan for my daughter who is a US citizen visiting United States for 2 weeks. She will be 20 when she starts her travel but will turn 21 in States. So what age should I put in for the plan?

A:
We would be glad to advise. When purchasing Patriot America insurance, the application will not ask for her age, but her date of birth only. The only time you enter an age is when running a quote. So when running a quote, you would enter her current age of 20. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Q:I will delivery a baby in September this year, I'm in insurance offered by my university currently. My question is could I buy the Patriot Exchange Program insurance? Of course the insurance will include my little baby also. And what the insurance detail about the baby? Thanks!

A:
The Patriot Exchange Program would not cover maternity or the baby after it is born. You would have to stay with your current plan for maternity coverage. You would also have to check with your current plan to see if the child is eligible for coverage.

I have been given 99% certainty that I will receive match tickets for a football match in Spain in a few weeks. Can I purchase my flights and accommodation etc and insure this through this coverage? If I get told I can't get a match ticket and change my mind and cancel my trip then could I have the flights and other things like train fares etc covered through this?

Q:I am interested in buying insurance as J1. I have 2 questions: 1. Is there any exclusion for activities normal to working in a hospital (I will be a scholar at a hospital) 2. Could I buy insurance for my spouse? He's traveling under B2 visa, not J2. Thanks.

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy. There are no specific exclusions for work done in the hospital. Can you please send us the insurance requirements so we can be sure we recommend the appropriate plan for your needs? Since your spouse is traveling on a B2 visa you may purchase any plan in the visitors to USA section of our website to cover him. We would be happy to recommend a plan for his situation but we will need to know more information. Can you please let us know his age, and the dates he will need coverage for.
