Q:I am 22 y.o. from India. I'm traveling to Sanford, Florida, in the USA for my Commercial Pilot License training. The start date is 22nd July. I have searched many insurances policies but no policy covers trainee/student pilots for any medical situation that arises while practically flying the aircraft. All the insurance policies cover student pilots for normal hospitalization for sickness or injury but exclude injuries sustained while flying the aircraft. I am in search of the Insurance policy that covers normal hospitalization plus it also includes injuries sustained while flying the plane. I have checked your policies and no policy covers student pilots. Also, I've checked Insubuy's Adventure sports rider option but in that, it isn't clearly mentioned that it covers a person piloting an aircraft (student/trainee pilot). Could you please recommend me the best insurance plan in which it is clearly written and it doesn't exclude student/trainee pilots from any kind of medical assistance which is necessary and which arises while flying the aircraft for training purpose. I appreciate your time and patience. Thank you.

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy. Unfortunately, there are no travel medical plans available that will provide coverage while you are in flight training. A plan such as the Atlas America will provide coverage to you for any new illnesses, injuries or accidents which occurs after the effective date of the policy. You may purchase this plan to cover you medically while traveling to the U.S. You can purchase Atlas America For the flight training you may purchase a High Limit Accident plan. This would provide coverage in the event of death or dismemberment due to an accident. Please use the link provided below to view this policy. You can purchase High Limit Accident Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Q:Hello, I am interested in purchasing one of your J-1 compliant insurance plans (ExchangeGuard) to cover my exchange visit to the US from July 15 to August 24, and I have some questions: - In the "Applicant Details" form, you ask about my Home Country. I am a Portuguese citizen currently studying in the UK. However, I will be moving out of my current address in the UK about two weeks prior to the start of my visit to the US. During those two weeks, and after I return from the US, my main address will be my parents' address in Portugal. Is it okay if I select Portugal as my Home Country and my parents' address as my Mailing Address (I will only be requesting online documents), or should I choose the UK and my current address there? - I will be flying from the UK to the US and back on July 15 and August 23, although these dates do not correspond to the dates on which I leave/return to my home country (Portugal). However, I do not require coverage outside these dates. Would it be okay to set these as Dates of Departure and Return in my Applicant Details form in that case? - Finally, I would like to confirm whether the ExchangeGuard plans include Repatriation of Remains and Medical Evacuation, and under which conditions. Thanks for your attention.

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. Your home country is the country where you principally reside. If this is Portugal, you may select Portugal as your home country. The plans will cover you anywhere outside of your home country, including the U.S. The ExchangeGuard does include coverage for emergency medical evacuation and repatriation of remains. You may view all of the plan benefits by using the link provided below. If you have any additional questions, please let us know.

Q:ask for a new birth baby short-term health insurance (parents are Chinese) in America

A:
We would be glad to advise. Can you please confirm the parents status here in the U.S.? A U.S. citizen baby is only eligible for domestic insurance. If the parents are in the U.S. for example on F1 student visas, or H1B temporary work visas and are offered domestic insurance through their university or employer they can add the baby to those benefits. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Q:My University has its own requirements: https://www.duq.edu/admissions-and-aid/international/accepted-students-next-steps/health-services-and-health-insurance/ I am a J-1 student but it seems the university treat me like an F-1 student. Is any of your product fulfill the requirements?

A:
Unfortunately, there are no plans available to meet the requirements as you require a plan which does not exclude pre-existing conditions. We would recommend purchasing from your University directly.
