Q:I am a contractor who moved the the US from Canada on a temporary visa. I landed on US soil on July 27th 2019 I am currently enrolled this plan. $5000 Deductible, 80/20 Coinsurance ($5,000 OOP) I am concerned about the tax implications from the affordable care act with the 'Shared Responsibility Payment. I may be interested in enrolling in a different plan. I would like to know if the Affordable Care Act applies to me? which plan should I switch to, to comply with the law?

Q:I booked a trip with Hotel + Flight package together. The Hotel booking has full refundable policy. However, the flight tickets are non-refundable.
