Q:I'm going to the US for three months (using J1 visa) but I already have insurance from February 1, 2020 till May 1, 2020. Could you advise me any particular option?

A:
We have several J1 plans, like ExchangeGuard and Atlas America that have a 5 day minimum purchase and can meet the standard J1 requirements. You will of course need to select at least a policy maximum option of $100,000, and a deductible not exceeding $500.00. If your sponsor has any additional requirements, please let us know so that we may confirm.

Q:I am looking for health insurance package for my wife that meets with Virginia Tech's requirements which I attached below. According to VT all the conditions listed in the document should be met. She has visa status F2 and her birthday is 28 June 1993. She just came to the USA last week. I am looking for an insurance that satisfies those requirements. Could you inform me about the packages that fit for us.

A:
We would be glad to assist. However, we do not have plans that will meet the requirements. It appears they are wanting the F2 to obtain an ACA compliant plan or domestic insurance. The only place we are aware of that provides that type of coverage to an F2 visa holder would be the plan offered through your school. Please let us know If you have any additional questions.
